Here's a very clean and affordable little bowrider package that's ready for someone to enjoy without spending new-boat money.
This 1999 Silverline 1700 LS is a 17' fiberglass bowrider powered by a Johnson 90 HP carbureted 2-stroke outboard with oil injection, and comes complete with a 1999 Northtrail single-axle roller trailer.
For a 27-year-old boat, this Silverline has survived remarkably well. The green and white hull still presents nicely, the interior is clean, and the upholstery is in exceptionally good condition for its age. The bowrider layout provides plenty of seating in a compact, easy-to-handle package that's well suited to cruising, tubing, skiing or simply spending the day on the lake.
The 90 HP Johnson is a simple, proven carbureted 2-stroke with oil injection — plenty of power for a boat of this size without the weight and complexity of a sterndrive. Sorry, there is no hour meter to know engine hours, but the engine has likely less that 500 hours based on our knowledge of the boat history - we sold it new to this only owner. The engine runs perfectly with like new compression.

Condition
Overall, this boat is in excellent cosmetic condition considering its age, as the photos show. The upholstery in particular has been very well preserved.
In the interest of full disclosure, the cockpit floor is beginning to show some softness in places. It remains serviceable and we believe it still has useful life remaining, but a future owner should anticipate that floor replacement will eventually be required. The asking price reflects this.
This isn't a perfect 27-year-old boat being advertised as something it isn't. It's a very presentable, affordable family bowrider with a 90 HP outboard, trailer and enclosure, with its known condition already reflected in the price.
