14' Fibreglass Fishing Boat:
This package is an economical way to get out on the water. With its 25hp electric start outboard and room for three adults, you can get to where the action is quickly at an affordable price.
14' Aluminum Fishing Boat:
This package is great compact fishing machine. With 3 pedestal fishing seats, a 25hp electric start outboard, livewell, fish finder and trolling motor, you have everything you need in one inexpensive package to get out fishing.
Pontoon Fishing Boats:
We have 5 to choose from! These boats offer the best of all worlds with spacious open
platforms and comfortable seating these boats can be utilized for touring,
picnics, fishing or just plain floating leisurely in the middle of the
lake or a quiet bay. They come fully equipped with radios, spacious bench seats, snack
table, bimini top, and swim ladder. Fishing models come with pedestal fishing seats, livewell, fishfinder, & trolling motor, making them the most popular rentals in our fleet.
And since they can carry up to 12 people, nobody gets left behind at the dock! 21' Baja Cuddy Cabin Cruiser:
This boat is a great little day tripper for those wishing to tour along the canal. While it could sleep 2 adults in the cuddy, we reccommend you take along a tent or stay at local resorts along the way. It has a full convertible top, am/fm stereo, swim platform and ladder. Sorry, it does NOT have a head or sink25' Regal Cuddy Cabin Cruiser:
This boat offers a wide open cockpit area that gives users the room they need to move for fishing, skiing and sightseeing. While the cockpit has only 2 captain-style swivel chairs, lawnchairs can be placed to accommodate more, plus there is a cuddy cabin v-birth with dinette table, sleeping area, ice box, sink, and toilet. The boat comes with a full convertible top, full width swim platform and boarding ladder. It also has a 5.7 litre 260hp engine that provides more than enough power for cruising or watersports. Equipment & Terms:
All rental boats are equipped with all necessary personal flotation devices, anchors and lines (as applicable), paddles or oars, and manual or electric bailers. We will also spend whatever time is necessary providing training until we're both comfortable with your handling of the unit. Gas and oil will be filled prior to departure and will be filled and charged to you upon return. A damage and security deposit is also required prior to departure (rates vary from $750 to $3,000). We recommend you book as early as possible as most week-ends and holidays fill quickly.
Licensing Requirements:
There is much confusion about the Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) in Canada with respect to rental boats. In short, you don't need one when renting a boat.
The following is a summary of the applicable regulations relating specifically to rental boats:
SECTION 4
(1) Subject to subsection (2), a person is competent to operate a pleasure craft
(c) in the case of a rented pleasure craft,
(i) only for the rental period, if both the person who makes the pleasure craft
available for rent and the person who will operate the pleasure craft complete
and sign before the pleasure craft is operated, a rental boat safety checklist
that contains the information referred to in section 8,
SECTION 8
Rental Boat Safety Checklist
A person who makes a pleasure craft available for rent must include, in a rental
boat safety checklist, a statement that they have given to the persons who will
operate the pleasure craft information pertaining to
(a) the operation of the pleasure craft;
(b) the principal boating safety rules; and
(c) the geographic features and hazards in the area in which the pleasure craft will be operated.
